The spectacular Hunza valley

If there is heaven on earth then it is surely The Hunza valley


2500meters above the sea level,  a mountainous valley in the Gilgit-Baltistan adjacent to the Wakhan Corridor of Afghanistan and the Xinjiang region of China, a former princely state.

The Hunza valley which z now becoming the best tourist spot. Its culture and traditions engulfs the heart. Their hospitality is praiseworthy.

Their patrimony includes the forts which is a worth visiting place to know about their history. Tourists never miss to catch a glimpse of the two most famous forts of Hunza the oldest fort is Altit and the other built at the top of Karimabad is the Baltit fort.

The glacier water is consumed without any filtration . It has its unique, natural and medicinal value. It is said for Hunza water that the one who drinks this water lives a longer life. This water drifts down the glaciers and pass by many herbs absorbing the best of those herbs.



Fresh fruits, nuts, clean atmosphere and maintaining healthy environment makes Burusho people active, happy and healthy. They still live an average age of over 90 years.


Hunza valley is circumambient by snow capped extravagant high peaks including Rakaposhi, Hunza Peak, Bojahagur Duanasir II, Darmyani Peak, Ghenta Sar, Ultar Sar and Ladyfinger Peak.

Hunza remains very famous for its scenic beauty, food, unique culture, with the locals as well as the foreigners.
